  1. halinanewberrygrant said: oh man, this is one of my ALL TIME favorite books. ALL TIME. I read it I don’t know how many times. I remember BC described Jane as having a “pert nose” and I wanted one! Beverly Cleary wrote about my neighborhood in Portland, where I grew up!
